Galicano Celion, 85, of Hilo died Jan. 1 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born in Kainaliu, he was a retired agronomist for the former Mauna Kea Agribusiness and U.S. Army veteran. Graveside service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 13) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by sister, Conchita Partoson of Maui; half-sisters, Priscilla (Tom) Bradley of Oregon and Fanny Dazo of the Philippines; half-brothers, Ernest Labardor of Waipahu, Oahu, and Roger Bagarino of Honokaa; nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret Cambra Pestana, 97, of Bandon, Ore., formerly of Hawaii Island, died Nov. 14. Born in Hawi, she was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed knitting and crocheting. The Rev. Monty Stewart, 50, of Walnut Creek, Calif., formerly of Kona, died Jan. 6. Born in Fort Smith, Ark., he was a minister and former pastor of Kona Church of the Nazarene.
